The last of four concrete pours at our West End house. We added Rockwoods Black Davis dye to color the concrete a dark Gray.

Grayson’s last day (far right) with GPM… 5 years ago he came to us a distressed chef looking for a new career. He turned out to be one of our greatest assets. He’s now continuing his journey to become a master electrician. Much ❤️ buddy. It even brought my father out of retirement for the day!

After a fire ravaged this downtown condo a few months ago we are now putting it back together better then ever!

Clearing the lot on Spruce St. for a new house build. This 40’ diseased tree was on the list.

With the warmer temps we were able to start this deck at Chase St. It will have some cool LED lights recessed into the decking.

We finished up a small apartment renovation downtown today. We used some @haieramerica mini appliances given the tight space. This unit is now available for rent visit www.gpmmaine.com for more info.

Just finished the Murphy’s kitchen minus their full height backsplash that will be installed next week. Merry Christmas @joshuawmurphy ! Thank you for the thoughtful gifts. You guys are truly a pleasure to work for.

Another great start to the season today with our Avant Loaders. The addition of the Bauman drop sanders worked well. They enable us to switch between rock salt and sand/salt mix with out clogging. Thank you @baumanmanufacturing and @altanortheast

We had to take down a few trees before demoing the house. About halfway through I headed into the wreckage to chain-up 3 of the original wood beams. We salvaged these so we can use them in the new home we will build on this site.

After several weeks of delays due to COVID in manufacturing, we finally received our siding and trim for Chase St. We can now protect the inside of this beautiful home.

Opus Grigio 6” x 40” porcelain tile installed today at Thomas St. Next it will receive a fine aggregate Silver grout.

All walls and ceilings are receiving a plaster coat at Thomas St. There is no sanding and it’s done in one day. This kitchen, mud room and entryway will now blend perfectly with the other historic rooms in this home. Under the drop ceiling in the entryway we found the original beadboard ceiling in an amazing green color. This will stay!

Handmade 1” thick tile being installed at Chase St. Each end piece had to be individually cut...over 350...

We started demo on a bathroom today at a very old house on Danforth St. Most exciting part was the time capsule we found in the ceiling from 1965. #timecapsule #oldstuffiscool

Maple flooring installed and first coated at Chase St. We used a water based poly with a satin finish. They will receive a final sand and coat once all finish work is done.

Vote NO on Portland questions C, D and E. They were written by special interests without public input, public comment, or public hearings. THE PROPOSED REFERENDUMS WILL MAKE HOUSING MORE EXPENSIVE. #buildingabetterportland

Small re-pointing job. We also had to reform the lower cement wall. We used Sika’s bonding agent and their cement patch to skim coat the entire piece after the repair. #sikaproducts

Demo day at the Murphy’s house. Josh & Marci felt it was necessary to take the first few blows. Wait until you see their new kitchen, we will be doing something we have never done before...

Wrapped up Pine St. kitchen today. Looks great! Very difficult to add laundry being sandwiched between two other condos. Nice work everybody. #koohkoohbird

Last week one of our maintenance tech’s walked into the Francis Fassett House to find this...luckily it was held up by one nail...A few days later it was fixed #thisoldhouse #circahouses

Unit 2 is under contract! Units 3 is very similar and will be available later this month...Unit 1 is much larger and will be listed soon as well.

Kitchen cabinets arrived today at 30 Chase st. I can’t believe 5 months ago we were tearing the old house down.

We just finished this porch restoration job at 161 Pine St. Each piece had to be numbered when removed. We built all new framing and installed 11 new footings. It’s like we were never there...

22 Pine St. Unit 2 kitchen is just about done, just waiting on countertops. Nice upgrade!

20 Cleeve St. addition is moving along well. Stairs are going in today. Great views from the 3rd floor!
